Wildix releases live streaming of its WebRTC-based ubiconf videoconference to YouTube and Facebook. And here is how you can stream your conference:

Start live streaming from ubiconf

  • During a conference, click Stream button in the upper menu:

  • Make sure there is at least one participant with microphone activated (if there is no audio, the live streaming cannot start)
  • Live Streaming setup window opens:

  • Now you need to enter the Key

Live streaming to YouTube

  • Open YouTube -> Creator Studio and go to the Live Streaming section:

  • If this is the first time you are streaming, you must first validate your account:

Click Get started and follow the instructions, once you are done, you are redirected to the Stream now page:

  • Go down to the Encoder Setup section:

  • Click Reveal to view the Stream name/key and copy it

  • Insert it into Live Streaming window of your ubiconf conference and click Start:

  • In several moments the live streaming from YouTube begins:

  • To stop live streaming, click Stream button in the ubiconf conference (the button is red while you are streaming)

  • Click Ok to confirm:

Live streaming to Facebook

  • Now you should see the following dialog:

  • Copy Stream key, insert it into Live Streaming window of your ubiconf conference and click Start:

  • Streaming starts on Facebook in Preview mode, click Go live to start the live streaming:

  • To stop live streaming, click Stream button in the ubiconf conference (the button is red while you are streaming)

  • Click Ok to confirm:
